Tokyo Winter Career Forum Ends with a Bang

Posted on December 21, 2011

Students from all over Japan gathered together in Tokyo last December 19th and 20th for the much awaited Tokyo Winter Career Forum at Sunshine City, Ikebukuro.

This year, 71 companies enlisted to participate at the forum. These bilingual companies provided opportunities to students for them to get hired as soon as they graduate this 2012. For those two days, students strut their stuff in their office getups. Many were nervous as it was their first time to have their job interviews. Booths were set up in the event hall of the Sunshine City World Import Mart for participants to interact with company representatives.

Come on UP, a business that provides people share houses in Tokyo, was privileged to be part of this event by housing some students from other prefectures in Japan outside Tokyo. The share house in Narimasu served as their dwelling place for the past days after busy days from a long list of job interviews and applications. Residents from Narimasu Come on UP share house welcomed these students like family while there in the house.

Last Tuesday night, the residents prepared a simple get-together to give these students a time to relax and enjoy their time of rest in the house. Learn about Come on UP houses by clicking this. Follow us on Twitter for more interesting stories @ComeonUPstaffE
